Another World Record?
Almost since the beginning of time there has been a friendly, but fierce, battle between Norway and Sweden. There's a lot of prestige in being the best country, and when the Swedish skater Klas Andersson read that a Norwegian now holds the world record for the most amount of kickflips in a row, he decided to break it, even if there was no official contest. Klas claims to have done 640 kickflips in a row.

Uddevalla, Sweden, 25.06.07 written by Denis Sopovic

Where did you get the idea of breaking the record?
I saw the old record on Tacky. This Norwegian skater had done 508 kickflips. My personal record was 130 kickflips, which I did last new year's eve, so I thought that it shouldn't be too hard to beat.

Did you think that you would do as many as 640?
My goal was to break the record. And when I broke it I thought I might as well push it further and try to continue as far as possible. My friend and witness thought I was crazy though...

Weren't you pretty tired after all those kickflips?
Yeah, I was really tired. I could barely walk. And it still hurts a little bit.

How does your brain feel? It must be hard to concentrate after so many flips?
All the kickflips weren't picture perfect. After a while you don't catch them that good and it is more about just flipping them. Yeah, my mind got tired after a while.

Did it affect you so much that you have nightmares about kickflips?
Haha! No, it is ok. I survived.

Did you miss the last one or did you just gave up?
I missed.

Does this constitute as a new world record? Who owns the right to set world records in kickflips? Is it OK to just have your friend as a witness? Does Klas Andersson have any skills at all?

This guy is a moron. I'm not saying that he didn't do the kickflips, but to think that he now holds the world record.. please!

if you don't believe him then invite him to a offical kickflip challenge?
Lasse  29.06.07 23:34
if you do 600 kickflips one day, you might not even make 10 another day. I guess I can believe him, since a 13 year old did the 506 one.
yo  01.07.07 15:13
who cares how many kickflips he can take! ten or tousen... whatever.. mongos
